In August 2025, Sanctuary Community Holidays (SCH) partnered with the Kent community to host a four-day Sanctuary Community Holiday for asylum seekers and refugees in London.

From Tuesday 5th to Friday 8th August, eight guests were welcomed into local homes across Kent, staying in pairs with volunteer hosts who offered simple bed-and-breakfast hospitality. A central community space, acted as a shared base for meeting, gathering, and coordination throughout the holiday, creating a sense of safety, belonging, and continuity.
